Yes, a couple of years ago I tried to start but I obviusly failed in my attempt. But don't worry, writing has no right time or age to do it and I think it's always great to start something new and exciting like a blog, no matter if you've tried it before or not.
Anyway, welcome to my blog which for the moment it'll be the platform to share my ballet and life journey as I grow up and learn more and more each day. I say it will be my platform for a while because I'm really thinking of opening a YouTube channel inspired by my brother's new YouTube intrusion. He has nothing to do with ballet but he really inspired me to step into this sharing dynamic. The problem? Not a powerful enough computer to edit videos, so for the moment, let's keep on typing!
I always loved to write when I was younger and then I got lazy about it and I actually really regret it. A couple of days ago I was talking to my friends and they told me about starting a gratitude journal or one of this five year journal to restart the writing routine.I thought that a blog could be a great start for me so here I am!
For today's topic, what best than sharing my Easter Sunday experience?
So I went to one of my friend's house where we spend our morning cooking our delicious menu:
- Vietnamise Spring Rolls with spicy peanut sauce
I must say that this ones where AMAZING and very fun to make as well! It made me think of meal preping some for a school day lunch or a nice picnic out.
This one is a vegan recipe that my lovely friend Frances brought for us to make and although it turned out to be more of a fudge than a cake I really enjoyed it. It was delicious and the cashew frosting turned out to be delightful and very recommendable for a ton of different recipes.
And a couple of cups of tea I must say! Very reccomendable the Kusmi's Tea as they have beautiful packaging and also very nice and strong enough flavour.
Anyway, I also made some tiny dessert for them to enjoy. It's a typicall spanish tradition to bring "monas de Pascua" to the godsons that are still not married (traditionally) but I actually got it since I was younger without having any godparents so I thought it was a nice way to say thank you to both of them for spending Easter holidays with me, and here it is:
- Vegan "Mona de Pascua"
All in all, it was a lovely Sunday of cooking, laughing and chatting with people that I really care about. Tomorrow I'll post the first ballet related post where I'll speak a bit of my trejectory and the current situation I'm living now.
If you're ever interested in me leaving the recipes for any of these, don't hesitate to write it down in the comments and I'll kindly share it as soon as possible.
Hope you all finish up enjoying Easter holidys and I'll check in with you tomorrow!
Love,
Muriel
